Elemental Temples were added to the game in August 2013.  Placing an elemental temple allows you to feed creatures of that particular element to higher levels.

• Placing a basic temple allows you to feed any creatures with that element up to Level 11. 

• When you have the required number of creatures at Level 11 your temple will upgrade to Bronze.
  You can now level any creatures with that element up to Level 15.

• When you have the required number of creatures at Level 15 your temple will upgrade to Silver.
  You can now level any creatures with that element up to Level 19.

• When you have the required number of creatures at Level 19 your temple will upgrade to Gold.
  You can now level any creatures with that element up to Level 20.

Hybrid creatures with 2 elements can be levelled up as long as any one of the corresponding elements is at the correct stage.
